ACHARI PANEER

Paneer is almost loved by everyone and now a days people have started to consume paneer based food more in number because of its taste. It's yummy and also easy to cook. Paneer dropped into any gravy results in awesomeness!!!! Here comes the recipe of achari paneer where the paneer cubes are prepared in a delicious pickle like gravy, that satisfies your tummy.
 


CUISINE : North Indian

SERVES : 4-5
 

TIMES : 40 Mins
 

INGREDIENTS :
  • Fresh Panner Cubed – 250 gms 
  •  Onion - 1 Large chopped
  • Curd or Yogurt- 1 Cup                        
  • Chili Powder – 1tsp
  • Turmeric – ½ tsp
  • Fennel Seeds – 1 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek (Methi) Seeds – ½ tsp
  • Asafeotida (Hing) Large Pinch
  • Fenugreek Leaves (Kashturi Methi) – 1 tsp
  • Capsicum Half of Large
  • Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Besan or Corn Flour – 1 tsb
  • Lemon – ½ tbsp.
  • Coriander Leaves as per taste                                                                                                               



 
  METHOD :
  1. To a kadai add an Oil. Splutter Cumins, fennel, Methi & add Hing.




       2. Add Chopped Onions and sauté until it becomes brown.




         3. Now add Turmeric, Chilli powder and
sauté until the raw smell vanishes.




         4. Sauté until it's nicely cooked.




          5. Now add the Cubed Panner, sauté well. If you choose to add besan, add now and give a  quick stir.




 

           6. Now add curd and boil the mixture.




           7.  Add Salt (if you choose to add corn flour, make a paste with little water, add it & allow to boil). Then add chopped capsicum.






           8. Add corriander leaves.






           9. Add Kasturi methi and stir.




          10. Finally squeeze some lemon juice (avoid this if curd is sore).


 
And now …Yummy Achari Panner is ready to taste! 😋😋😋
