PASTA PAAL KOLUKATTAI


Hey guys !!! what’s up?? Happy to inform you that I have moved on to a new place, new country and new tradition !! So When I thought of doing some traditional sweet with the things available here I just tried to innovate our traditional paal kolukattai recipe with the pasta.
 

INGREDIENTS:

  • Pasta – 1 cup
  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Sugar – 1 cup or according to your taste.
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
  • Ghee -1 tsp

METHOD:

1. Boil the pasta in hot water with a drop of oil and a pinch of salt. Drain it and rinse the pasta with cold water. Keep it aside (this method helps in cooking pasta well and not being smashed.)


2. Boil the milk on other side, let it boil well and reduce to half cup. After it gets thick, add sugar into it.



3. Add the pasta now into the thickened milk along with cardamom powder .

4. I have also added some grated coconut into it for taste..(optional)


5. Now Add a teaspoon of ghee and serve hot !!! And it tastes yummy !!!





Tips and Tricks :
You can add condensed milk at the end if you want little more creamy texture, when you serve as a dessert to your guests !!
