DAL MAKHANI RECEIPE

Hi friends... Today we are going to make yummiest healthy food... yes...a cup of protein... full of health..dal makhani!!

TIME: 1 hr to cook


INGREDIENTS:

  • Black whole urad dal-3/4cup
  • Rajma/ kidney beans-1/4cup
  • Butter- 1tbsp
  • Bay leaf-1
  • Cloves-2
  • Cinammon stick-1 inch pc
  • Star anise-1
  • Kalpasi-1
  • Cumin seeds-1tsp
  • Crushed ginger garlic-1 tbsp
  • Big onion- 1 medium sized finely chopped
  • Bangalore tomato-1 finely chopped
  • Green chilli- 2 slitted
  • Red chilli powder-1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder- 1 tsp
  • Corriander leaves-1 tbsp
  • Kasthuri methi- 1 tsp
  • Whole Milk-1/4cup
  • Salt to taste


METHOD:

1. Soak dal and rajma together overnight.
2. Pressure cook both with salt upto 3 whitles until soft and mashy.
3. To a kadai, add butter , temper cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinammon stick, kal pasi, star anise,cardamon and cloves.
4. Add onions, green chilly and tomatoes until it becomes mashy.
5.Add red chilly powder , garam masala and little salt fr this gravy andsaute well.
6.Add rajma urad dal with cooked water.let it boil until raw smell goes and until you get required consitency.
7.Add milk, crushed kasthuri methi, chopped corriander leaves and serve hot with phulka or any indian bread.
