MADHUR VADA

This recipe was a long time attraction for me. I read it in many books and watched it being cooked at many shows. So in an urge and temptation to eat this, I made this crispy snack. It originates from karnataka. All Vadas were eaten within minutes!!!! I was happy that i tried it out. Hope you will also feel happy after eating this vada.


CUISINE : Indian

SERVES : 4-5

TIME : 20 Minutes

INGREDIENTS :
  • Plain Flour (Maida) - 1 Cup
  • Rice Flour - 1 Cup
  • Semolina (rava) - 1 Cup
  • Chopped Onions - 1 Big finely chopped
  • Green Chilies - 2 Nos fines chopped
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger - small piece grated
  • curry leaves - handful
  • Finely chopped coriander
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste


METHOD:
  1. Mix all ingredients together and make it into small balls.
  2. Pat it flat and thin like tattais.
  3. Deep fry it and serve hot with tea.
Tasty Vadai is ready . You can also add chili powder to the dough. It will taste yummier and gives feel of thattai.
