hey friends !! How are you doing ??!! Well.. the past 2 weeks were awesome for me!! With my Birthday & A.R. Rahman's Encore Concert, i enjoyed being in my good spirits!! 😇😇😇 When it comes to birthday, for me it's not about how i celebrate but just about feeling how much you are loved by the people in your life!!! 😊 And I FELT LOVED!!! 😄😍😇 Mission accomplished!! 😁
And coming to today's post, it's an interesting makeup tutorial!! Yayyyyyiiiiieeee !!!! 😁 I always like to go for vibrant liners which adds drama to the whole look. But though i love it, either i don't feel like sporting it always or it soo happens that the outfit cannot balance the drama. So here i am, to show you my way of sporting a blue eyeliner look!! Let's get into it...
PRODUCTS USED :
STEPS :
1. Prep and prime the upper and lower eyelid with a primer. Use a soft taupe brown ( Inglot 357 ) and blend it well on the crease.
2. Now use a dark brown eye shadow (PAC 10) on the eyelid & blend it's edges well. Pat the shadow on the lid to obtain the color intensity & only blend & soften the edges.
3. Use a blue gel liner ( Lakme absolute gel addict Deep Sea / kajal ) to create a rough line on the eyelid near the lash line. The line can be as broad as you want it to be. I would suggest to start creating lean line first and then broaden it step by step, as we are going to smudge it a bit next & also to avoid mess.
4. With a smudging brush, smudge the line slightly. Try to create the shape as you smudge. i Created a slight wing on the outer corner of the eyes.
5. Repeat step 3 & 4 again if you want to intensify the liner more.
6. Follow the steps 3, 4 & 5 for the lower lash line as well. It may look not so wearable in the below pic, but ladies.. Trust me. It gets completely toned down and wearable in the end!!
7. Now take a blue eye shadow ( Inglot 428 ) & go over the liner on upper and lower lid, defining & intensifying the color and shape further.
8. Next, tight line the lower and upper water liner with the black kajal. Also draw a thin line close to the upper and lower lash line. The kajal doesn't have to be winged or sharp towards the outer edge.
9. smudge the kajal in the upper and lower lash line. By doing this, the eyes seems more defined and also it makes the blue wearable & bright at the same time!!
10. Finally, use a highlighter ( MAC Soft and Gentle ) on the brow bone....
11. and the inner corner of the eyes. This makes the eyes seem big & open.
12. This is how it finally looks like 😊
With the brows, mascara & face done, here is the complete look!!!
Usually, it's suggested that with such dramatic eyes, nude lip shades goes perfectly well. But depending on the outfit, i personally like to go for bold lip shades too with bold eyes. So i opted for a bright Red lip to go with this eye make up.
Nude pinks & nude peach can be some of the suggestions for ones who love subtle lipstick for such looks.
However, at the end of the day it's completely your choice, depending on the outfit & occasion!!!
Hope you all liked it!! Try this tutorial & leave your comments below !! See yaaa 😊
