Hi everyone!!! After a much needed long break… we are back with new posts!!!! Yayieeeee!! so… today’s post is gonna be about my recent favourite, a must have skin care product; The Hada Labo Gokyujyun hyaluronic acid lotion!!
This is a toner/skin lotion that is to be patted into a clean skin, to hydrate it enough which would result in problem free, plump skin. Japanese people believe that lack of hydration in skin is the root cause for major skin troubles!!
Hyaluronic acid????? Hmmmm… what is that now!!?? In actual, hyaluronic acid (HA) is already present in our skin and is responsible for many activities like lubrication of connective tissues,tissue repair, etc. It is also a Humectant, which means that it is capable of attracting moisture and enables skin to absorb it.
So, skin care products started incorporating HA in them,which helps skin not only to get hydrated,but also provide skin healing and repair, resulting in : skin firming, lightening of marks, diminishing of fine lines and wrinkles, soft and hydrated healthy looking skin!!!!
Hada Labo is a pioneer in Japanese skin care products. There is a wide range of products, each specialised for various concerns like anti-aging, lightly moisturising, intense moisturising,etc. And particularly, their this product is an all time hit!!! That’s how i got my hands on it to treat my stressed skin!!!
INGREDIENTS : Now, it’s fully written in Japanese !! But it’s said to have 3 different types of
hyaluronic acid!!!
PACKAGING : It comes in nice cylindrical, white plastic bottle with a secure cap. The product come out in a controlled way, so it’s easy to take out only the required amount without wasting.
There are also refills available, which helps you in saving 100 yen every time you buy!!
PRICE : In Japan Bottles are around 748 yen and refills around 648 yen.
In Amazon’s indian website Bottles are around Rs.1700 and refills around 1600. ( of course it’s more than double the actual price ) Since I have people to bring it to me from Japan, I don’t have a problem with price and so it seems to be a very effective product in very affordable price!!
And I hope that NYKAA launches this brand in India very soon in a affordable price for everyone!!
TEXTURE : It’s a transparent lotion, slightly thicker than water. A very less amount of just 4 to 5 drops is more than enough to cover the face and pat in. So it comes for a long time!!
FRAGRANCE : It has a slightly medicinal, pleasant odour.
HOW DO I USE : After washing the face with a mild face wash, when the skin is still slightly wet, I take 4-5 drops of the lotion and first apply on the face. Then keep patting the face till all the product is absorbed into the skin and the skin become slightly sticky when patting. Then just rub the hands on neck to get off the remaining completely.
I use it 2 times a day, in morning and night.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH HADA LABO GOKYUJYUN HYALURONIC ACID LOTION:
Few months back, my skin was breaking out crazily due to stress. My skin’s texture was also detonating due to that. With the help of a Dermatologist, i managed to control my breakouts but i still needed a product that can avoid any further damage and also repair the already damaged skin!!
That’s when i travelled to Japan and also came across HadaLabo. I decided to give it a try !! And then there was no looking back!!!
My skin’s texture has improved a lot!! I feel that my skin is always hydrated enough that it looks and feels healthy and soft even with the marks that are still fading. I also noticed that even if i have a breakout, it heals faster than before!!
The texture is very light, gets absorbed into the skin in 2 minutes and sets into a matte finish without looking heavy and oily. It’s not at all visible on the face!!!
This also seems to be a product fit to be used in the 7 skin technique, which is a Korean skin care method to ensure maximum skin hydration.
Well this is more than what i can ask for!! For me, this is one product that is a must in my skin care routine that i would never wish to replace or stop using!!
RATING : 4.5 for 5
0.5 less only for the fact that it’s pricey in Amazon than the actual price due to it’s non availability in India.
