Festive season without silk sarees ??!! Now is that even possible? So let’s see what’s new in Silk sarees this year. As far as i have noticed, all those beautiful color combinations and designs that i have seen my mom wearing in her youth are back!!! I have always loved those combos.. Coffee Brown and Pink, Pink and blue, Dark Royal blue with Bright pink, Mango yellow and Green, Peacock Green, are some of the old combinations that are seen in the market. And am sure that it is loved by all!!
Sarees like Pochampalli, uppada, Ikat and soft silk are still garnering attention. Half and half sarees have still not lost their charm, especially in designer sarees.
Coming to salwars, floor length anarkalis are still dominating the parties. Apart from that the classic straight cuts and lehengas are holding their spot light intact. But what is comparatively new in it is the different types of sleeves that are experimented, which includes cold shoulder, bell sleeves, capes and the list goes on!! Apart from sleeves, traditional prints and materials like kalamkari are seen a lot. I noticed a tad bit more of off whites and beiges available in the market.
Over all, i would say that there is no Big difference in the trends when compared to the last year. But all these small differences are more than enough to excite us into shopping, Right??!! So enjoy shopping the trends that you love and Rock this Diwali!! Happy Shopping !!
All the information you provided about Saree and the kalamkari materials are true... The info about the Saree colour combinations that are revisiting now is the highlight.... That's a good shopping review....
