AMAZING FACTS ABOUT MATHS

Today am going to share some of the amazing / fun facts about Maths!! Let's directly jump into it!!

• Abacus in considered as the origin of calculator
• From 0 to 1,000, the letter "A" appears in only in “thousand"
• Zero is the only number which cannot be represented by Roman numerals.
• When number 1 is divided by 998001. The answer would give you a complete sequence from 000 to 999 in order. 
• If you add the numbers  1 to 100, the total is 5050
• 'FOUR' is the only number in the English language that is spelt with the same number of letters as the number itself 
• Have you ever noticed that the opposite sides of a die always adds up to seven?
• Number 9 is believed to be a magic number. It is because if you multiply a number with 9, add all digits to resulting number, the sum would always be 9.
• 40 when written "forty" is the only number with letters in alphabetical order
• 1 when written "one" is the only number with letters in reverse order
• 12, 345, 678, 987, 654, 321 is the product of 111, 111, 111 x 111, 111, 111. Notice the sequence of the numbers 1 to 9 and back to 1.
• Do you know what comes after Million?

They are Billion, Trillion, Quadrillion, Quintillion, Sextillion, Septillion, Octillion, Nonillion,  Decillion, Undecillion,  Duodecillion, Tredecillion, Quatttor-decillion, Quindecillion, Sexdecillion, Novemdecillion, Vigintillion, Centillion.

• The famous Greek mathematician, Pythagoras, used to have small rocks to signify numbers when working on mathematical equations. This led to origin of word Calculus which means pebbles in Greek.
