DIY - LITTLE RED INDIAN INSPIRED HEADBAND FOR KIDS!!

Hey friends!! How are you guys doing?? This week, am gonna show you all a very easy, interesting & fun DIY for kids !!!! 😁 DIYs are always fun!! I love to do a lot of such stuff for my nieces & nephews !! So here goes the cute & easy DIY.. Hope you all will love it.

THINGS NEEDED :
  • Colored feathers / feathers collected by kids ( i used to collect a lot of feathers from my school ground when i was a kid) - 12 to 14 nos.
  • satin ribbon
  • fevicol / feviquick
  • scissors

METHOD :

 1.  Measure the head's circumference & cut the satin ribbon, leaving extra few inches generously, to tie it around the head in the end.

2.  Mark the center point of the satin ribbon & stick the first feather on that point with fevicol. Now stick the rest of the feathers symmetrically on either side of the center feather to obtain the result as below. Let it dry completely.

3.  Now, cut the excess stem of the feather which is seen jutting outside the ribbon. You can also broaden the center portion of the band by sticking another piece of ribbon, from the center point on the base ribbon horizontally.

4.  Next we are going to make the side plaits. Take 3 strands of satin ribbon of required length & tie it together. At the other end of any 1 strand, stick a feather upside down as shown below.

5.  Now plait the 3 strands loosely to form a  braid. Tie a knot & stick the ends such that only the feather is visible at the end of the braid, as shown below.

6.  Finally, tie both the plaits on either side of the feathers on main band as shown below.

Tadaaaaa... 😇😇 👯 The Little Red Indian inspired headband is ready to be worn !!! Cute, right ??!!!! 😍😍 It's easy, cheap, fun & totally worth it !!! So try it out soon & express yours reviews to me!!! see yaaaaa!!!
